A foundation that supports sustainable development:

Created in May 2004 by Henri Proglio, chairman and CEO of Veolia Environnement, the Veolia Environnement Foundation is one of the leading private-sector foundations in France. It supports community-orientated projects contributing to sustainable development in France and abroad. It concentrates primarily on projects fostering solidarity, professional integration and the protection of the environment. It is unique in that each project is “sponsored” by a Veolia Environnement employee, which encourages team spirit and the development of a united front in support of the values of solidarity and responsibility. Although it primarily provides financial aid, the Foundation also encourages the development of sponsorship in the form of expertise, calling upon the multiple skills of the Group’s employees.
