The Groupama Group, sensitive to environmental issues, was keen to support the Terre – Océan mission. The scientific and humanistic investigations carried out in the framework of this mission will provide a better understanding of the natural environment in which we live

In its business practice as an insurer and in its relations with its members and clients, the Group continually draws on its background in agricultural mutual insurance and its daily experience of risk management in natural environments acquired through direct contact with the land.

Groupama is all the more interested in the La Boudeuse mission as it involves the sea, a key business area for the Group.

In fact, the Group has had a presence on the world’s oceans and seas for over 12 years through its partnership with Franck Cammas, skipper of the Groupama boats. The Groupama Sail Team is itself directly affected by imbalances in the environment, and fully supports the objectives of this mission.
