The reasons behind the sponsorship support provided by the Caisse des Dépôts:

Within the context of its sponsorship activities, the Caisse des Dépôts provides support to projects in the field of classical and contemporary music, urban solidarity and reading. Its activities are aimed at young people in particular and seek to improve their integration into city life.

The School of Adventure (Ecole de l’Aventure) association was established to promote the intellectual and physical development of men and women, in particular young people, through a form of training that is based on the technical, cultural, mental, intellectual and civil aspects of adventure.

We felt the objectives of the School of Adventure and the mission of the three-masted schooner, La Boudeuse, were very much in line with the programmes we have developed for young people. Furthermore, the qualities developed by the project are very similar to the strong values held by our institution, such as team spirit, individual and collective entrepreneurship, risk management under difficult circumstances, unity of effort, the ability to seek new challenges, and faith in man, science and the future.
